(clipper)

I saw, once or twice, strange money made from tea.  At least this currency may have had value beyond the tokenism.

The fastest ships were specially made to transport tea.  One of the last recently burned.  Strangely, no one drowned, not that time.

I shall not go into what happened in Boston.

(ship, singular)

The ship behaves so well, responds perfectly to weather and the captain's command, when it is without the fleet.

The ship is like a person.

NaCl

Human beings measure time using such fast clocks.  They think about time in those same minute minutes and hours and days.  All blinks of the Seraph's eye.  Insignificant as quarks to galaxy clusters, fundamental as hadrons.

It is all waves on the salty seas in which the Seraphim cool themselves.  Einstein was wrong, the world is not simply clocks and rods.

If you combine and acid with a base you will also have salt.

Salt, a long time ago to human beings, was once far more valuable than gold.  As it should be, as it is.
